How to make basic materials  'tama-urushi','bengara-urushi'

 

By adding α to‘urushi’ basic lacquer, the properties of the lacquer changes and is converted into materials for shaping, filling and adhesive.

１．How to make 'tama-urushi' … lacquer for painting.

Material: basic lacquer

This process is called .

ⅰ）Place a small amount of basic lacquer on top of the glass plate.

ⅱ）Blend it with a spatula for 10-15 minutes. is done when it becomes thick and dark brown in colour.

２．How to make　'bengara-urushi' … red lacquer for painting.

Mateirals: tama-urushi + bengara(red pigment)

Quantity               　１：１(volume ratio)

ⅰ）Place a small amount of on top of the glass plate.

ⅱ）Take out an amount of according to the ratio.

ⅲ）Mix the into the little by little in 3 times, blend it well for 10-15 minutes and is done.
